Marcus studied chemistry with a focus on inorganic and industrial chemistry and catalysis and completed his doctorate at the ECRC with the development of MOF-based catalysts.
Since 2020, he has been working as a senior academic advisor at the ECRC on various projects in the field of synthesis, characterization and application of porous materials.
